that's it,eva. Tim Horton's. DD has disappointed me in recent years. I forget where the Horton's is. I have not been satisfied with any donuts -- since College Bakery on Court St closed several years back.
I think our resident R.E. agent should be able to find out through the grapevine who bought he carriage house on Pacific St. for $15M. probably just a hedgehog and not a celebrity though.
the market by me upstate makes apple cider donuts in the autumn....fresh... the denser fried cake type of donut. They are very good. Sometimes they have the frying machine in front of store and you get them hot.
I have to sneak out and get filled propane tanks for grill. I have this habit of not turning it off completely and gets all used up. I guess because it is in the dark when I use the grill.
On July 2, Clinton will visit the Cape for a pair of "Conversation With Hillary" fundraisers, one at the Osterville home of philanthropists Elaine and Gerald Schuster, and the other co-hosted in Provincetown by Alix Ritchie and Bryan Rafanelli, the Boston-based event planner who orchestrated Chelsea Clinton's wedding.
last time I went to Elton John concert fundraiser Hillary at Radio City. I hope they do again. Hillary/Bill/Chelsea were there. She spoke some. Not surprised you don't like her. After all you have problem with successful, intelligent women.
Possible closing on LI coop next week. The buyers are ready. Now trying to get all the money grubbing lawyers to come up with a time they all can make it. has to be at coop attorney's office. Let it happen.
Arg. Private invite-only groups, limited groups, public groups, threads and announcements, bannings and policies, this has gotten too much for my brain, I have a short stack, I am now declaring this an official pain in the butt. It's starting to feel like work.
Thank you Scott, for all your hard work, and for adding feature after feature after feature after feature, to the insatiable maw of the user group. If it were my site, I probably would have told them to piss off, suck it up Buttercup, vote with your feet, just generally stop your yammering and whining and go set up your own blog. It's not rocket science. I know, I've done rocket science, and rocket science is harder. And nowhere near as irritating.
As for me, if it ain't on the public thread, I ain't gonna bother with it no more.
It seems to be serving a useful purpose for some. I have nothing against it, but I have no need to utilize so many different modes of communication. I tend to be somewhat introverted a lot of the time anyways. The public OT is enough for me. Glad you're well. I'm doing ok, too. Softball league is rolling along, weather's getting nice for girl-watching, and soon it'll beach time!
You are making it over compictated- the idea is there will only be one thread each day. This site has always had the public vs private functionality in various forms. The new idea is to make the OT in a format that allows only logged in users to see comments. There does not need to be multiple threads ever again.
In addition to two OTs, there was a lot of activity today, opinions sought and given, decisions made by the powers-that-be. Various threads covered the same topic as the day went on. But Randi's right, presumably there will be one OT tomorrow, on the limited side. I hope Pete will join us there, and that we're past the tough stuff.
I don't prefer that it *all* be out in the open, I'm just personally too tired and too burnt out to try keeping track of multiple conversations in multiple threads, and remembering what I was posting where. As other PLUSAs before me have said, "I can't be asked." Each person is free to do as they please.
I thought you were anti multiple threads.

and the filling better be good.
Actually, I think Dunkin Donuts calls them "Dunkin' Donuts". They are less sweet, more dense, and far superior for actually dunking in your coffee.

I never did get around to having any donuts today :-(

Yeah, I don't do complicated away from the office anymore. 'CUZ I DON'T HAVE TO.
You're well, I trust?
Glad you're well. I'm doing ok, too. Softball league is rolling along, weather's getting nice for girl-watching, and soon it'll beach time!
As I've stated, I prefer the open OT too, but I'll float with the consensus.
Grandiose much?
